To open the PlanOrganizer, please select a project in the Project Tree. Via the area   Open... you will navigate to the different work areas in PlanTeam-SPACE.



Via the point    ...of the Organizer the Organizer is opened or with appropriate configuration via the Navigation buttons in the header.


Configure the Organizer

To configure the Organizer, mark the root node in the tree on the left side.

Check the time window from which the tasks and appointments are to be displayed, and adjust the values as desired. Apply your settings with Change.
Please note that activities outside the selected time window will not be displayed!

Regardless of the selected time window, all current appointments or all open tasks can be displayed via the actions and These actions can also be hidden via the server configuration.


Create Tasks and Appointments

Via the toolbar of the Organizer's configuration page, you can press the symbol Schedules and by pressing the Symbol Create tasks. Proceed as described on pages Manage Schedules or Manage Tasks described.


Organizer Tree

In the Organizer Tree, tasks and schedules are displayed in separate trees. Switching between the two trees is done via the tabs in the header bar. Below each respective tree, all person-related schedules or tasks linked to them, their associated members, and any attached documents are displayed. Clicking an object opens the corresponding properties page.

Both trees are divided into nodes based on configuration: All, My Own and Assigned to Me which contain the corresponding tasks and schedules.
At various nodes of the task tree, the action to create a new task or schedule is available. If the action is executed on a category node, the corresponding category is already pre-selected in the dialog for creating the task.

Display of Tasks

Tasks are displayed grouped according to the following points:

Clicking one of these nodes displays all contained tasks in the tree and presents them in a table on the right side.

The task symbols have the following meanings:

An open task. Tasks whose due date has already passed are displayed in red text.
This task has been started but not yet completed.
Completed task.
Group task. This task was assigned to a group. The corresponding members are displayed when expanding the task node.
Task set as a series. When this task is completed, a new task is automatically created according to the defined interval.
Person to whom this task was assigned.

Display of appointments

Appointments are displayed categorized according to the following points:

Below these nodes, appointments are displayed categorized by categories.

A click on one of these nodes expands all contained appointments in the tree and displays them in a table on the right side.

The symbols for appointments have the following meaning:

An open appointment. Appointments can be set so that they are automatically considered completed after the specified date expires, or so that they must be manually marked as completed.
An already completed appointment.
Recurring appointment. When such an appointment is marked as completed, a new appointment is automatically created at the specified interval.
Person for whom this appointment was created.

Subscriptions

On the properties page of the main node of the Organizer component, a new subscription can be created via the action

Through the subscription, the user is regularly notified via e-mail about activities within the Organizer component. The parameters of the subscription (Name, Period, Start time, Objects, etc.) can be freely selected.
