In the calendar, appointments and tasks are displayed clearly in various views. You will get a quick overview of the chronological arrangement of activities.

The calendar is accessed via the symbol in the menu bar and opens in its own window.

The calendar can be displayed both across projects and for specific projects, depending on whether you are in the project view or have a project open. The title in the calendar shows which project the calendar currently refers to.


Using the Calendar

In the upper left area, the calendar thumbnail is displayed. The days shown in the calendar view on the right side are highlighted in yellow. The month can be set using the arrow keys and or via the middle dropdown menu.

In the calendar view, the following time period views can be set by selecting the corresponding tab: Today/Day/5 Days/Week/Month. With the arrow keys ◄ and ► next to the tab, the display can be scrolled forward or backward by one unit according to the selected time period.

Via the upper right symbol above the calendar view, you can update the content of the calendar, print it, or close it. Furthermore, the displayed appointments or tasks can be filtered by Outlook here.

When you move the mouse pointer over an entry in the calendar view, information such as the name, date, or category of the corresponding event is displayed.

For clarity, appointments and tasks between 00:00-6:00 and between 20:00-24:00 are hidden in the standard view. To display events for the corresponding time periods, click the top ▲ or bottom ▼ arrow symbol in the column with time intervals.

The color representation of categories for calendar objects can be customized. To do this, select the action in the filter area of the calendar window.

You can then adjust the color of the selected category.

The personally defined colors are displayed in a list.


Create Appointment

The easiest way to create a new appointment is to [CTRL] held down and with the left mouse button pressed mark the desired time period.

Subsequently, the dialog for a new appointment opens. After entering the required information, you can create the appointment.

When selecting an appointment, the Overview with its properties opens on the left side.

Another option is to mark the desired time period. A "New Event" appears. With a right-click on the marked area, you can select whether to create an appointment or a task.

You can also create an appointment via the Organizer .


Delete Appointment

To delete an appointment via the calendar, open the context menu of the appointment with the right mouse button and select Delete/Remove Appointment .

Appointments can only be deleted by the creator, project managers, or project leaders!

It is not possible for responsible persons to delete appointments!


Create Task

The easiest way to create a new task is to [CTRL]+[ALT] held down and with the left mouse button pressed to mark the desired due date. Subsequently, the dialog for a new task opens. After entering the required information, you can create the task.

When selecting a task, the Overview with its properties opens.

Another option is to mark the desired time period. A "New Event" appears. By right-clicking on the marked area, you can select whether to create an appointment or a task.

You can also create a task via the Organizer.


Delete Task

To delete a task, open the context menu of the task with the right mouse button and select Delete .

Tasks can only be deleted by the creator, project managers, or project leads!

It is not possible for responsible persons to delete tasks!


Approvals

Scheduled approvals can also be displayed in the calendar.

Here, the designation and approval status are displayed.


Print Output

Calendar entries can be printed. To do this, set the desired calendar period (Today/Day/5 Days/Week/Month), click on the dropdown symbol and select "print". A PDF document with the tasks and appointments corresponding to the selected period and filter will be generated for you.


Export Calendar Data

Calendar entries can either be exported individually or for an entire view.

To export a single calendar entry, open the context menu of an entry with a right-click and select "export to Outlook". The download of the calendar file starts.

Furthermore, you can export the calendar entries of an entire view. To do this, set the desired calendar period (Today/Day/5 Days/Week/Month), click on the dropdown symbol and select "Export to Outlook". Now you can decide whether you want to export tasks or appointments. After selection, the download of the calendar file starts.


Filter Settings

The following filters are available on the left side:

All Tasks Includes all tasks created in the project. Tasks of other people are only displayed if you have the rights as a project manager or project lead, or if read access to tasks for all has been configured on the server.
My Tasks Filters the tasks you are involved in.
Tasks I created Filters the tasks you have created.
All Appointments Filters all appointments created in the project. Appointments of other people will only be displayed if you have rights as a Project Manager or Project Lead, or if read access to appointments for everyone has been configured on the server.
My Appointments Filters the appointments you are involved in.
Appointments I created Filters the appointments you have created.
Open Releases Filters all open releases of the project.
Granted Releases Filters all granted releases of the project.
Rejected Releases Filters all rejected releases of the project.
By Category (Appointments and Tasks) Filters the tasks and appointments of the selected categories.

Via the option show completed appointments and tasks you can display already completed tasks and appointments.

The filter settings for releases are only displayed in a project calendar.

The respective last settings are restored upon the next login.
